Place immersed in the woods, very simple and with a vintage flavor. We arrived on Sunday without booking and it was very full but the gentlemen were very kind and made us two sandwiches which we haveAte inside. We'll come back to eat :)

Five stars for quality and location. It is ideal for starting paths in the beech forest towards the Collalto source or the San Leonardo pass. We came here twice last week and had lunch both times. Despite the heat, the temperature here was pleasant. The stream that comes down from the mountain is splendid. Excellent food, courtesy and quality

In the middle of the Majella , immersed in a forest with bright autumn colors , the Fonte Romana restaurant appears like an oasis of peace and relaxation. The typical November foliage, the roar of the small stream and the lake will accompany the visitor to the structure, which has outdoor stations and internal tables. The welcoming fireplace will make you immediately feel at ease and ready to eat home-made meals.The appetizers were good (including cured meats, ricotta, tripe and peppers), the polenta, sausage and scamorza and the mushroom chitarrina . The cuts of wild boar and lamb are well cooked.A nice walk under the colorful beech trees will help you digest while enjoying the view.

We went to this restaurant to eat with friends. We found the simplicity of homemade things. I personally ate the gnocchi and ravioli truly exceptional. For the second year of the delicious meat, the lamb is highly recommended. To finish, some homemade desserts which are very good. For those who drink proprietary liqueurs, absolutely take the ratafia they have, superior in taste to many found in the area.
